Jamie O’Hara has told TalkSPORT that he believes Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish should consider a move to Tottenham Hotspur – and has urged his old side to sell a couple of players in order to afford the uncapped English playmaker.
Grealish, 24, had a hand in 18 goals during the 2019-20 season for Villa as he captained them towards Premier League safety – scoring 10 times and creating eight more. He has a contract at Dean Smith’s side until the summer of 2023.
The Express & Star has claimed that Villa have slapped an enormous £80million price tag on Grealish’s head, despite the overriding belief that he will leave Villa this summer. At that price, though, it looks clear that Villa could keep him.
Former Tottenham midfielder and Billericay Town manager O’Hara thinks Spurs should consider Grealish and wanted Spurs to sign him last summer. However, he stated that while he admires Grealish, he is not worth £80million.
