What does any Heisman Trophy winner do after he led his team to the national title? He tries to win a national title in another sport, of course. Fresh off of beating Auburn 34-31 in the BCS National Championship Game, Jameis Winston is preparing to take the diamond for the Florida State Seminoles this spring. As you'd expect, the star quarterback is setting his sights high for this baseball season, per the Associated Press (via ESPN.com): "I just want to have an effect on this team like I did the football team," Winston said Friday before his first practice of the 2014 season with Florida State's baseball team. "I just want to be a team player and get this show going." Of course, that would mean going all the way to Omaha and winning the College World Series. While it sounds a bit crazy, it isn't that much of a leap. The Seminoles are coming off of a season in which they compiled a 47-17 record before losing to Indiana in the Super Regional. ACC coaches picked Florida State to win the Atlantic Division this year, and it's the only school listed as a conference favorite aside from Virginia, per Brendan Sonnone of the Orlando Sentinel.
