In a survey of players most likely to be dealt before the NBA trade deadline on February 20th, SheridanHoops editor Chris Sheridan named two Orlando Magic players as possible candidates. Point guard Jameer Nelson and big man Glen Davis figure into Sheridan's analysis. "[T]here are a number of teams that could use a veteran floor leader to calm things down in the fourth quarters of tough playoff games," Sheridan says of Nelson. Sherdan concedes that there's only "a limited number of teams" with enough "assets" to make Orlando general manager Rob Hennigan a competitive offer. The veteran NBA scribe also notes that Hennigan "has been trying to rid himself of Davis' contract for more than a year." Whether any team wants Davis' deal, which pays him $6.6 million in the 2014/15 season, according to ShamSports' salary database, remains an open question.
