After last week’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys, the Philadelphia Eagles knew they were out of contention for an NFC East title race. Doug Pederson’s boys underwhelmed all season, especially due to the dismal performances from quarterback Carson Wentz. However, some promising displays from rookie Jalen Hurts have come as a late morale-boost for the Eagles. But Sunday’s loss to NFC East opponents, Washington Football Team, remains an enigma.

Hurst was not throwing well last night against Washington. But he kept Eagles in the game with 2 rushing TDs in the second quarter. But coach Pederson opted to bring Hurts off in favour of backup QB Nate Sudfeld. This came as a shocker to NFL audiences across the globe, and to Hurts himself.
