Now that Derek Cox has left for San Diego, the Jaguars have to hope he plays well and stays healthy. If he does that, the Jaguars will get a better compensatory pick for him. But if he does that, then the Chargers made a good move in signing him to a four year deal for $20 million, including a $5.2 million signing bonus and $10.25 in guaranteed money. The Jaguars obviously thought that was too much money to give a cornerback who has had problems staying healthy.
