Tim Tebow debut with the Jacksonville Jaguars could not have gone any worse.
Tim Tebow is a 34-year-old who hasn’t played a regular-season professional football game since 2012 and it showed during the preseason. Tebow made his Jaguars preseason debut Saturday and has spent the last few days being roasted and mocked over laughably bad block attempts.
Appearing on “The Herd with Colin Cowherd” this afternoon, former Jaguars legend Tony Boselli said he is not surprised that Tebow has been unable to block effectively in a game and at practice.
“You can see in camp too, he struggles to block,” Boselli said. “You can say he was a physical quarterback. That’s great. Being a physical quarterback is one thing. Being a physical tight end and playing in the trenches and having to block and move people is something that’s much more difficult. He’s just not shown a propensity to do that during training camp.”
