With the 2019 supplemental draft in the books, West Virginia receiver Marcus Simms will be signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars, per NFL insider Tom Pelissero. The move comes after the receiver went undrafted in Wednesday’s selection process.
As previously reported, the Jags were one of several teams to check the young receiver out at his pro day, and they seemingly were impressed with his film. During his pro day, the former Mountaineer posted a vertical jump of 36 inches. At 5-foot-11, 188 pounds, Simms also posted a broad jump of 10-foot-2.5, a short shuttle time of 4.19 seconds, a three-cone time of 6.91 seconds and ran the 40 three times, registering times of 4.49, 4.45 and 4.40.
