The German Football Association is set to examine tributes to George Floyd and other political gestures made by a number of players during the weekend's Bundesliga action.

Among the players to be looked at is Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho, who took off his shirt to display the message "Justice for George Floyd" after scoring against Paderborn.

Sancho was booked for taking his shirt off and went on to score two more goals in the 6-1 thrashing, while his teammate Achraf Hakimi also displayed a similar message.

Their tributes followed that of Borussia Monchengladbach's Marcus Thuram, who took a knee after scoring against Union Berlin.

Elsewhere, United States midfielder Weston McKennie wore a "Justice for George Floyd" armband during Schalke's defeat to Werder Bremen.
