The Jacksonville Jaguars throttled the Houston Texans, 45-7, on Sunday, riding the dominant performance of quarterback Blake Bortles to a guaranteed playoff berth. But after the game, Texans defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, who sees Bortles at least twice per season with the two teams sharing the AFC South, was not impressed whatsoever. Bortles finished the game 21-for-29 through the air for 326 yards and three touchdowns. His favorite target was wide receiver Keelan Cole, who hauled in seven receptions for 186 yards and a score. He also found Jaydon Mickens for a pair of scores, lathering it on as the Jaguars jumped out to a 31-0 lead. It’s only the second time all season Bortles has thrown at least three touchdowns in a game. His 326 yards are his second-most in 2017.
