Yankees outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury is expected to start the season on the disabled list due to a strained oblique, manager Aaron Boone told reporters on Monday. Ellsbury, who has not appeared in a Grapefruit League game since March 1, sustained the injury two weeks ago. He had began doing soft toss and hitting off a tee last week, but did not take simulated at-bats on Monday as he was originally scheduled to do due to flu-like symptoms.
