As several professional sports leagues across the globe make strides towards resuming their suspended seasons amid the coronavirus pandemic, the MLBcontinues to engage in a spiteful financial dispute.

It doesn't take a brain surgeon to realize that this predicament lies entirely on the shoulders of the owners. On Wednesday, it was reported that they will reject (and not even counter) the players union's proposal for a 114-game season. 

This news served as yet another example of the almighty dollar being their only priority, and St. Louis Cardinals right-hander Jack Flaherty acknowledged this issue in a perfect tweet.
