An Indiana University football player was arrested during a Jason Aldean concert at Klipsch Music Center in Noblesville and booked into the Hamilton County Jail over the weekend. According to Hamilton County Jail records, Simmie O. Cobbs, 21, faces misdemeanor charges of refusal to identify and resisting law enforcement. The Hamilton County Sheriff's office said in a release that Klipsch security brought Cobbs, a redshirt junior wide receiver, to the security office in the music center Saturday night for "not complying with security personnel attempting to clear aisles during the concert." Officers said he was confrontational, and refused to take a breathalyzer test for alcohol or provide identification, which resulted in his arrest. Records indicate that the refusal to identify incident happened around 9 p.m. Saturday. Cobbs was booked into jail about an hour later. The resisting law enforcement incident happened shortly before 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
