Chris Phillips says it's time for everybody to bury the hatchet with Daniel Alfredsson. Yes, the Senators veteran defenceman knows it got a little ugly when the former captain made his departure for Detroit but Phillips says Alfredsson should be welcomed back with open arms Sunday night. "Everyone has moved on. It's a chance to applaud him," said Phillips late Thursday. "It will be special for him to come back. I don't know if there's ever such a thing as a good breakup. Everything that went on was frustrating for everyone involved. Now is the opportunity to put all that stuff behind and for him to be rewarded with a thankfulness for what he's done." Phillips said the summer is water under the bridge.
