That wasn't Mike Bossy, Bryan Trottier, Denis Potvin and Co. that throttled the Penguins. That was John Tavares, Matt Moulson and Michael Grabner. If Tuesday night's 4-1 win over the Penguins is any indication, these Islanders might not be the punching bag they've been in recent seasons. Then again, the Penguins should've figured that out last season. Yes, the same Islanders, who dashed the Penguins' hopes of a division title last March, humbled the home team again, scoring three times in a pivotal second period – including two power play goals in a two-minute span. The Penguins had been 19-3 in their previous 22 games against the Islanders. Clearly a 3-3 record is not what the Penguins, who remain winless at Consol Energy Center, envisioned in any season let alone an abbreviated one as this. Certainly few could have expected the Penguins to be booed at the CEC just 10 days into the season.
