The Cavaliers could see Isaiah Thomas make his team debut in the first week of January, Shams Charania of The Vertical tweets. The point guard hasn’t yet played for his new club after coming over from the Celtics in an offseason trade. Charania adds that Thomas apparently feels well enough to play now but the plan has been set to ensure that he doesn’t re-injure himself. In the first week of January, Cleveland faces the Trail Blazers, Celtics and Magic.
