Following the Eagles' 31-3 win over the Chicago Bears this past Sunday, comments that running back Jay Ajayi were interpreted by Hall of Fame sports writer Ray Didinger as a sign the running back might be disgruntled with his lack of touches. According to Ajayi's head coach, however, that is not the case. "Not with Jay at all. Not at all," head coach Doug Pederson said Monday of any potential frustration from Ajayi. "I had a chance to speak with him this morning. He is fine. He is excited to be here. Obviously, he is on a winning football team. He contributes (anyway he can)." The comments by Ajayi came after he carried the ball just five times for 26 yards. "My role is to run the plays that the coaches call. That's what I've been doing," Ajayi said to reporters. "I'm just running the play that the coaches call. I'm happy with my role."
Is Jay Ajayi frustrated with his role on the Eagles?
