The New York Knicks continue their search to hand out their final contract and just in the last four or five days we have heard names such as Gary Forbes Hamed Haddadi and Earl Barron linked to the Knicks. I guess at this stage it can’t hurt to throw another name in the mix. According to ESPN’s Jared Zwerling former Kansas big man Cole Aldrich is a name that is on the Knicks’ radar. It was only three years ago that Aldrich was a lottery pick of the Oklahoma City Thunder but now after underwhelming in three NBA seasons he is out auditioning for an NBA job. Aldrich who has averaged 2.0 points and 2.3 rebounds in 89 contests getting only 7.9 minutes per game with the Thunder Rockets and Kings has worked out for a handful of NBA teams so far and the Knicks could be next on his list.
