Less than a week after the swimming accident that left him in a temporary, medically induced coma, IU redshirt freshman receiver Isaac Griffith is headed home. He was discharged Sunday from Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Florida, according to a tweet from his father. Griffith tweeted the same news. "Nothing more to say except I'm blessed," Griffith tweeted. "Indiana I'm on my way home today." Griffith was involved in a swimming accident Monday in Sarasota, when he was caught in a rip current on Siesta Key Beach. He was placed in a medically induced coma at Sarasota Memorial to allow his lungs to heal. Shannon Griffith, his father, has been providing regular updates on his son's condition via social media. He tweeted pictures of Isaac Griffith with both him and his wife, Kim, Sunday.
