Indiana quarterback Peyton Ramsey entered the transfer portal Monday, a source told 247Sports.
Ramsey made seven starts during the 2019 campaign, throwing for 2,454 yards and 13 touchdowns against five interceptions. The 6-foot-2, 216-pound redshirt junior finished the year completing 68 percent of his passes, the second-best rate in program history. Ramsey took over as the starter for an injured Michael Penix, who earned the team's starting job out of fall camp.
The Cincinnati, Ohio native arrived at Indiana as a three-star recruit in the 2016 class. Ramsey redshirted his first season on campus before emerging as a member of the All-Big Ten Freshman team in 2017. Ramsey started 12 games for the Hoosiers the next season, throwing for 2,875 yards, 19 touchdowns and 13 interceptions with a 66 percent completion rate.
