Carolina Hurricanes starting goalie Anton Khudobin left the game Sunday against the Phoenix Coyotes midway through the second period at after taking an awkward spill. Khudobin came out to play a dump-in in the top the left circle but fell to his knees. After making his way back to the crease Khudobin signaled the bench for help needing assistance to skate off the ice on one leg. Hurricanes coach Kirk Muller said after the game that he was unsure of the injury's severity and that Khudobin will have an MRI on Monday.
