Former Browns head coach Hue Jackson struggled during his two and a half years in Cleveland. He posted a 3-36-1 record and was fired after a 2-5-1 start to the 2018 season.
Things went about as bad as you could expect with his time with the franchise. He did, however apparently do one thing right.
Hue Jackson, who joined the, “Pass It Down,” podcast this week, stated the team actually wanted to take North Carolina quarterback Mitch Trubisky first overall in the 2017 NFL Draft and not Myles Garrett.
He made sure that did not happen.
“I think at the time, there was a divide between who should be the first pick,” Jackson said.
