Juwan Howard 19-year NBA veteran who won back-to-back titles with the Miami Heat stopped by Sports Talk Live to talk about his experience in the NBA. The Chicago native and former All-Star discussed being a part of a championship team in Miami. “It was a long time waiting. I had been playing basketball at the NBA level for 18 years. That was the first time I was able to win my first ring” said Howard. Howard’s second ring would come the following year. Howard now 40 has put in his fair share of work to get earn those rings. “I put in a lot of hard work offseason worked extremely hard. Invested in myself by eating right just having passion and love for the game and at the end I got rewarded.” Although he has enjoyed winning NBA Championships with the Heat Howard says that being a part of the “Fab 5” at Michigan was a cooler experience.
