Premier League clubs continue to wait on a decision over the rest of the season and whether it can indeed be finished.

The latest noises from the top flight's organisers suggest the action will resume at some point, even if it is behind closed doors, at 'neutral venues' and against the will of a portion of clubs.

But further down the pyramid, there is no such good news with The Athletic claiming League One and League Two will be scrapped early next week.

The report suggests teams will vote on a method to decide promotion and relegation with one early frontrunner.

Clubs reportedly favour a weighted points-per-game average.
