To those of you who belong to the Let's Trade Jason Spezza Fan Club, here's a statistic to think about: 1-10-4. That's the record of the Ottawa Senators in the 15 games Spezza has missed since injuring his right shoulder during a Boxing Day game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Now, perhaps the argument can be made that Spezza wouldn't have made any difference, given how poorly the team has been playing. Maybe that would have been true. But you won't be able to convince coach Cory Clouston of that. Spezza's absence, said Clouston, only underscores his importance to the team. "He's an easy target," said Clouston.
How do you like him now?
