Watt and company will kick off their 2014 preseason at 7:30 p.m. Saturday against the Arizona Cardinals. Houston-born Tim Cornett will technically be a Texan in Glendale, Ariz., with the former UNLV standout at the bottom of the Texans’ depth chart. But the short distance between Cornett’s football youth and the Texans’ first training camp under coach Bill O’Brien has already brought the rookie running back full circle. “It’s a big opportunity, just to stay home,” said Cornett, who starred at UNLV from 2010-13, finishing first in school history in net rushing yards (3,733) and becoming the first player to lead the Runnin’ Rebels in rushing yardage four consecutive seasons.
