The reaction was as loud and steady as it was predictable. But after Pat Beverley was booed from the introductions and throughout the game, he was neither moved or distracted by the reception he received in his first game in Oklahoma City since last season’s playoffs. “I don’t hear it,” Beverley said. “I don’t hear anybody. I don’t hear anything when I’m on the court. I’m in character. I’m in my zone. I just see what’s going on in the court. I don’t really hear what’s going on outside.” Beverley had another altercation with Thunder guard Russell Westbrook when he was called for a technical foul after going for a steal as Westbrook was calling time out, as he had in last season’s playoffs when Westbrook was hurt. But he said it was nothing personal.
Hostile environment does little to rattle Beverley
