The New Orleans Hornets, behind 27 points from reserve forward Ryan Anderson, held off a furious Sacramento Kings rally to take a 114-105 victory Monday afternoon in New Orleans Arena. Anderson was 7 of 13 on 3-point attempts. The Kings got 29 points and 13 rebounds from center DeMarcus Cousins but it wasn't enough. Sacramento pulled within seven, 104-97, with 3:14 to go, the closest the Kings could get in the second half. The Hornets led by as many as 25 points in the third quarter, but the Kings closed the period on a 21-7 run and at one point had shrunk New Orleans' lead to eight, 80-72.
