Last night the Memphis Grizzlies struggled to contain the Phoenix Suns frontcourt. It ultimately resulted in an ugly home loss for Memphis. And Lionel Hollins spoke on his frustrations in the post game: "One of the issues that I have is that neither Darrell (Arthur) or Ed (Davis) are fives. We don't have another big guy. We weren't able to play big and have two bigger people across the board because we don't have a bigger guy to put in the game." via Geoff Calkins/Memphis Commercial Appeal Marcin Gortat, Luis Scola and Jermaine O'Neal (yes he's still in the league) combined for 44 points on 17-25 shooting and 18 rebounds. When the team stopped one, the other began to take over. Before the front office took over and began to trade everyone, Hollins often used Marreese Speights at the center position to spell Marc Gasol. At times he went to Hamed Haddadi. Fast forward to now, both of those players are gone. Now Hollins has Darrell Arthur and Ed Davis as the frontcourt backups. At 6'8", Arthur will likely remain the back up power forward, but Davis could've helped last night.
