Cardinals left fielder Matt Holliday and World Series MVP David Freese traveled from St. Louis together Monday afternoon, and both will join their teammates during today's informal workouts for position players. "I've been looking forward to this for a few months now," Freese said. "You get down here. You get on the field. Everything from here is just about baseball." Some quick notes from the morning at Camp Cardinals: -- Jon Jay, Daniel Descalso and Pete Kozma are also making their first appearances of camp this morning. -- Koyie Hill, who is competing for the backup catcher spot, will catch Chris Carpenter and Jake Westbrook during bullpens today. "The things they usually get me out with, now I have to figure out why they work," said Hill, a former Chicago Cubs catcher.
