A third offensive lineman is transferring from the LSU football program. Willie Allen, a former John Curtis standout who redshirted as a freshman last season, plans to transfer, he announced on Twitter on Sunday night. Allen joins fellow tackle Chidi Okeke and center Andy Dodd as O-line transfers since coach Ed Orgeron took over the program. He becomes the second transfer in the past week, joining cornerback Saivion Smith. Allen never played in a game; he suffered an injury during his first preseason camp in August. It forced him to miss his rookie year. At the time, then-coach Les Miles characterized it as a leg injury. Allen had surgery last fall to repair the injury. The No. 16 tackle in the nation among the 2016 recruits, Allen practiced this spring as LSU's No. 2 left tackle, taking snaps behind starter K.J. Malone.
