Temporarily unemployed as of midnight last Saturday, 10 Flyers players did their best to retain a bit of normalcy Monday by showing up to Skate Zone for an early morning skate. Due to NHL owners enforcing a lockout until a new collective bargaining agreement is in place, there will be no preferrential treatment for awhile. Players parked in the front parking lot, entered through the front door carrying equipment bags and changed in a public dressing room. They also had to reach into their own pockets to purchase 90 minutes of ice time.
