James Harden’s jumper with 4.5 seconds left might have won more than Sunday’s game against the Spurs. A day later, Harden also took the Western Conference Player of the Week honors by completing the Rockets 3-0 week with his game-winner. Harden had 29 points in the wins against the Spurs and Jazz, 20 in the rout of the Cavaliers in which he sat out the entire fourth quarter. He averaged 26 points, four rebounds and 3.7 assists in the three games. In just three games, Harden went 39-of-44 from the line. Harden has been Player of the Week three times this season, one shy of the franchise record set by Tracy McGrady when he was Player of the Week four times in 2004-05.
