All-Pro 49ers outside linebacker Aldon Smith was back at practice on Friday and coach Jim Harbaugh expects him to play Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. “I expect Aldon like today to be back to work and playing on Sunday” Harbaugh said Friday afternoon at the conclusion of the 49ers' practice. Smith was booked into Santa Clara County jail on Friday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of marijuana. He posted $5250 in bond for his release and was on the practice field within hours of his 7 a.m. arrest. “Disappointed and felt like he needs to go to work face his teammates and soldier through it” Harbaugh said. On how Smith seemed at practice Harbaugh said "He seemed like he had his wits about him." Harbaugh addressed the 49ers before practice veteran cornerback Carlos Rogers said. "He said 'We all know what happened just come out here and have a good practice; don't continue to talk about Aldon's situation'" Rogers said. "I don't think it'll be a distraction. I think the team is strong. We're still salty about last week's loss. ... We got Indy and that's our main focus." Smith went through limited work in each of the team's three practices this week due to a back condition. He is listed as probable for Sunday's game according to the team's official injury report.
