Phillies manager Charlie Manuel admitted before Saturday's game that the team could shut down Roy Halladay at some point before the season ends, in part because of the pitcher's subpar season. Then Doc went out on the mound and looked just fine. Halladay (5-5) threw seven masterful innings of shutout ball in the Phillies' 3-0 win against the Diamondbacks. Halladay gave up only three hits in what was his best start since Opening Day.
