Yes Hakeem Nicks was on the field the first two days of camp but didn’t make it through the second day. The oft-injured Giants receiver made a highlight catch over Corey Webster during individual drills Sunday but that was his final play of the day. He sat out all of team drills feeling tightness in his groin according to Tom Coughlin. The coach said he “really didn’t know” much else about the injury although it’s an ominous start to camp for Nicks who was hampered by foot and knee issues throughout 2012. Nicks who is in the final year of his contract had knee surgery in the offseason and took it slowly during the offseason training program as well.
