Here’s the best news Canadiens fans have received in a while: Carey Price will be back in goal Saturday night at the Bell Centre against the Ottawa Senators (7 p.m., CBC, RDS, TSN Radio 690). Price has missed the last eight games after suffering a lower-body injury at the Sochi Olympics. The Canadiens were 3-4-1 during that span and have lost their last three games. Price took part in his first full practice Friday and was on the ice again for Saturday’s morning skate. Coach Michel Therrien announced after the morning skate that Price would face the Senators. “Carey Price will play tonight. It’s great news,” Therrien told reporters in Brossard. “He had a really good day at practice on Friday. He went through that process. He worked really hard and felt good. We met with him after practice, and we were saying yesterday that we’d see how he was feeling this morning. We met with him and the medical staff and they confirmed that he’s ready to play. He’s had his mindset since Thursday that he wanted to make a comeback. He’s got to think like that. He looked really good yesterday. He looked good again this morning.” After Saturday’s game, the Canadiens travel to Buffalo where they will face the Sabres Sunday night (7 p.m., TSN-HABS, RDS, TSN Radio 690).
