Despite having one of their longest losing streaks in franchise history, Memphis Grizzlies general manager Chris Wallace made it known recently that they will stand pat, and will not trade Marc Gasol and Mike Conley. The veteran front office executive cited that having young players surrounding their two big-time players has always been their plan for this season. He then added, via Tim MacMahon of ESPN, that he doesn’t see any reason why either of them should be dealt, especially with both players having already proven themselves throughout their careers.
