Zack Greinke, who broke his left collarbone in a fracas with Padres left fielder Carlos Quentin on Thursday night, will undergo surgery Saturday in Los Angeles and is expected to miss eight weeks. Greinke hit Quentin with a pitch during Thursday's 3-2 win, and the right-hander said he sustained the injury when Quentin body slammed him in the left shoulder as he charged the mound. Dr. Neal ElAttrache and Dr. John Itamura, who are Dodgers team physicians, will perform the surgery at White Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles. They will place a rod in Greinke's clavicle to stabilize and align the fracture. Greinke, who signed a six-year, $147 million deal in the offseason, had allowed two runs over 11 1/3 innings in his first two starts this season.
