The San Francisco Giants will pick up pitcher Matt Moore’s option for 2018 despite the starter enduring a shaky season. Giants GM Bobby Evans confirmed to the Los Angeles Times’ Bill Shaikin the team’s plans for Moore. “We’ll pick up his option,” Evans said via the Times. Moore has a $9 million option for next season, and a $10 million option for the year after, which are both very reasonable prices (or bargains) if Moore can pitch back to his Tampa Bay form. The problem is Moore has not been very good with San Francisco.
