The New York Giants have reached an agreement with free-agent defensive lineman Austin Johnson, according to The Athletic's Dan Duggan.

Johnson will sign with the Giants after he spent the past four seasons with the Tennessee Titans. The 26-year-old, selected in the second round of the 2016 Draft, appeared in 16 games last season, making just one start.

In 2019, Johnson primarily served as the backup nose tackle to starter DaQuon Jones, according to the Titans' depth chart.
