It was a big day for guys named Barry at AT&T Park on Monday. The only question was whether it was bigger for Barry Bonds or Barry Zito. Bonds was seemingly everywhere in a rare appearance at the yard where he did so many extraordinary things once upon a time. He met with team president Larry Baer before the game. Then he engaged the media for more than a half-hour. He schmoozed with fans in the stands, and finally, did a couple innings in the TV booth with Jon Miller and Mike Krukow. Zito, meanwhile, gave the Giants seven stalwart innings in a 4-2 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks and made a bit of a comeback himself from his horrendous last outing in Milwaukee. Somehow, Barry B. and Barry Z. didn't cross paths.
