David Carr is entering his 12th NFL season and it comes as no surprise he doesn’t look like a rookie on the practice field. That however is precisely what Ryan Nassib looks like and a big reason why it is likely both Carr and Nassib will remain on the scene once the Giants’ final roster is complete. Nassib a fourth-round pick from Syracuse got a shot yesterday at running the two-minute drill working indoors because of the wet grass on the Giants’ practice fields. It didn’t go very well. Nassib completed a pass to tight end Larry Donnell but then had his problems. He looked for Donnell again but the pass was deflected by linebacker Kyle Bosworth and intercepted on the rebound by linebacker Mark Herzlich. Given it was practice the turnover didn’t count and Nassib got another chance. His next pass was underthrown to Keith Carlos and intercepted by cornerback Laron Scott.
Giants rookie Nassib looks every bit the inexperienced QB in drills
