The Giants have had a hard time keeping players healthy this season and Christmas brought another roster move to end the year of an ailing player. Safety Cooper Taylor has been placed on injured reserve after missing the last two weeks with a hamstring injury. Because this is the 2013 Giants, Taylor also had a shoulder injury that kept him out of three games earlier in the season. Taylor was a fifth-round pick in April and had his on-field highlight against the Raiders when he recovered a blocked punt and returned it for a touchdown. He has four tackles in 10 games spent mainly on special teams work.
