The Giants have a lot of problems, but now they at least have a general manager. The Giants announced Thursday they are hiring Dave Gettleman, a longtime NFL executive including in the Giants’ front office, to replace Jerry Reese. Gettleman, who was the Panthers’ GM from 2014-17, beat out interim general manager Kevin Abrams, Giants vice president of player evaluation Marc Ross and former NFL personnel executive and current ESPN analyst Louis Riddick. The four were the only ones to interview.
