The Giants got the 49ers off the schnide four weeks ago, and San Francisco keeps returning the favor. While the Giants were dropping to 2-11 on Sunday with a 30-10 loss to the Cowboys at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, the Niners were picking up their third victory, turning back the Texans, 26-16, behind Jimmy Garoppolo to push the Giants into sole possession of the second pick slot in the 2018 NFL Draft. Picking higher is, of course, better for the Giants. Especially if they want to select a quarterback in April's draft. But there could be downsides to having the second pick.
Giants close in on No. 2 pick in 2018 NFL Draft, but is that good thing?
