The Giants have been one of the busiest teams this offseason, and they continued their activity Monday by signing outfielder Austin Jackson to a two-year deal. The contract is worth $6 million, but could reach as much as $8.5 million, according to MLB reporter Jon Heyman. "We are excited to have Austin join the Giants," Giants general manager Bobby Evans said in a statement. "He is a talented and versatile player who will strengthen our roster and provide additional depth at all three outfield positions." Jackson played for the Indians last season, slashing .318/.387/.482 with seven home runs and 46 runs scored in just 280 at-bats.
