Colorado State men's basketball coach Larry Eustachy announced Monday afternoon that senior forward Gerson Santo suffered a fracture to his left hand early in CSU's regular-season finale at Wyoming on Saturday, ending the Brazilian big man's career on the court for CSU. "This is just a devastating loss for our team, but more importantly for Gerson," said Eustachy in a statement. "He played his heart out for CSU, and I hate to see something like this end his senior season so abruptly." The Rams, who are preparing for the upcoming Mountain West Tournament at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, will be forced to do so without Santo, a 6-foot-9, 238-pound forward from Valencia, Brazil.
