The Georgia Bulldogs will be without linebacker Natrez Patrick when they face the Oklahoma Sooners on Jan. 1 in the College Football Playoff. On Thursday, Mark Schlabach of ESPN.com reported Patrick entered a drug treatment program and will not play in the game. Patrick was arrested following a traffic stop on Dec. 2 after Georgia beat Auburn in the SEC Championship Game and was facing a misdemeanor drug charge, according to Schlabach. Although the charge was dismissed, Seth Emerson of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Patrick failed an ensuing drug test. According to Anthony Dasher of UGASports.com, Patrick's hearing was Thursday, and he agreed to enter the rehabilitation program instead of spending 30 days in jail.
