According to a source, Selvie was fined $15,750 and Scandrick was fined $21,000 for illegal hits. Selvie was fined for a second-quarter roughing the passer penalty when he hit Bears quarterback Josh McCown below the knee. The 15-yard penalty was added to a 26-yard completion to Alshon Jeffery. Scandrick was fined for a fourth-quarter unnecessary roughness penalty when he hit wide receiver Brandon Marshall on a 22-yard completion. The hit was deemed to be on a defenseless player.
