Gareth Bale will FINALLY complete his long-awaited move from Tottenham to Real Madrid in the next 24 hours. The deal has been agreed between the two clubs and Bale's world record £93m move will be confirmed tomorrow. Tottenham technical director Franco Baldini is currently in Spain finalising Bale's transfer as well as the deal that will seal Erik Lamela's move to White Hart Lane from Roma. Madrid defender Fabio Coentrao is expected to move to Spurs as part of the package. The pursuit of Bale has dominated the agenda for the La Liga giants throughout the summer with manager Carlo Ancelotti desperate to add the winger to his first-team of stars. Ancelotti refused to speak about the 24-year-old last week after previously angering Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas with his open discussions over the transfer. The number 11 shirt worn by Bale at Spurs has been left vacant at the Bernabeu with the deal set to trump the £80m Madrid paid Manchester United for Cristiano Ronaldo four years ago. Tottenham are preparing for life without Bale and will secure the signing of Brazilian playmaker Willian from Anzhi for a club record £30m fee. Villas-Boas whose side take on Dinamo Tbilisi in their Europa League play-off tonight was bracing himself for a frantic period before the transfer window closes. "Ideally we want to keep everyone to make us stronger that is the ultimate objective of the club" he said.
Gareth Bale will finally join Real Madrid on Friday
